Cold blooded deception

Ruff Golden here for Fox News: After landing at DFW this evening, I received the "Mother of all blackberry surprises". I was rerouted to the Castle to confront the management and Miss Octopussy with the grim findings from the abandoned mine in Leadville, Colorado. I was certain that funeral arrangements for Mr. Manatee were being planned and that this was going to be a very depressing week at the Castle. Then the news flash of the month came to this reporter from an undisclosed informant deep within the forensics unit of Miami's CSI. The body inside the black plastic bag was that of a lone WOLF!!!!! that had been a victim of a hit and run on Hwy. 133 outside Redstone, Colorado. A media release from the office of Commander Tony El Tigre is as follows: "We are dealing with criminals who are far beyond the intelligence and the crafty ingenuity of the common kidnapper. This is a criminal organization that is far superior to anything that we have dealt with in the past". Sheriff Tasmania was equally surprised and stated that this was a deceptive ploy that he had never seen in all his years in law enforcement. He stated "We are at a loss in tracking these criminals because we have spent endless man hours and expense following what is nothing but a 'dead end trail'. Sniffer found what we were sure was the body of our kidnapped victim but all we have is a 'dead, run over wolf'! Meanwhile, the real kidnappers are long gone, and we are left holding a black plastic bag with dead wolf remains!!! Wait until the County taxpayers learn of this
farce....Sniffer will be eating out of the dumpster and I will be on horse back."
